Horrible conditions on June 29th, 2022. No drift, no wind, and couldnt troll due to a lot of seaweed; but Captain Billy found them anyway. Picked up an African Pompano. I have caught bigger fish than a 22LB African Pompano, but nothing greater. It was a fun day, that started out so unpromising. Mate and Co-Captain, Ashley kept us baited, and made sure we were always ready. The African Pompano tasted amazing, grilled, baked and smoked. They even fixed my new private fishing pole, which I did a poor job putting line on it. They re-spooled it, and made sure it was ready for action. It even caught a yellowtail snapper after they did this.

Went out on a Mahi Mahi trip. Eight hours and had a great time. Trolled all day and came out with six on board, three shorts and three lost(possible wahoo as per the mate). I kind of notice that other boats were skunked for the day and Ed caught the biggest Mahi for the season and it was recorded on the sign on dock. Coming back for sure
