Great State Park! Plenty of space between spots in the electric camp grounds. Many we'll marked trails to hike. Very clean!

Fun place with several trails. The nature center was a enjoyable self guided trail. Not as much open river frontage as I was expecting. Electric only Campground.

This was our first time camping here. I was very impressed with this place. The showers and bathrooms were very clean. The noise was minimal except for the wildlife! We woke up at 6:00 a.m. with the birds! Quiet time at night was totally observed. The staff was very helpful to get you to where you needed to go in the park and directions into town for whatever we needed. I would come here again.

Camped mid-May, pretty nice but crowded on weekends like most Indiana State Parks. Nice hiking along river and climbing the fire tower, beaver dam in backwater, nice wild flowers in spring. Fortunately very little mosquito activity.

Yes swivel type I believe. Camped in the primitive site a couple months ago, we had 5 sites all had the aforementioned grills.
Yes it would be a beautiful place to have one
Everything to hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing, and horse back riding.
7 or 8 dollars. Buy yearly pass. It is a bargain if you go to state parks often.
All of the family campground is 50 amp.

Yes.
No, but do have the 100&200 and others
Anything. Pretty much, just as long the river is up and not so shallow the rocks are showing clearly at the bottom.
Yes, they have trick or treating at the campground. It is one of the best events I've ever attended. They probably have over 100 plus campsites giving out candy. Several of the people take up a couple sites and they actually make miniature walkthrough haunted houses. It's unbelievable
I'm not exactly sure but I put 12/15/21 in for campsites available and it looks like they are open. They might be open all year.
WE DID NOT GO INTO THE BUILDINGS...MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PLENTY OF MOSQUITO REPELANT
It was at 4 ft+ good current 2 weeks ago
I believe so
Pretty sure there's one over on loop road too past the horse campground
Horse trails and regular roadways that goes around the park, nothing bike specific
They're allowed but some of the trails were pretty difficult for us to ride on
No. Barely any cell service
I didn't really notice any when I was there a few days ago
Most trails I saw were mulch based, but plenty of pavement in the campground and throughout the park.
Fees: https://www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/2391.htm/ You will also need a fishing license.
About the same as the other state parks....go online to book a site, don't remember exactly how much?
Yep, sure can
There is winter camping availability at Tippecanoe. Look In.Gov DNR website.
The Tippecanoe River passes through the Park. You can start and finish outside the park boundaries or use the public launch within the park. I cannot however say if there are any potential log jams especially from recent wind storms. Contacting the park service may be a good idea. Have fun!
I think it is $26.00 a night
No!!!!!!
Don't see why you couldn't
Is there kayaking now.
If you go to this website you can see what is boiked and what's not for any particular date. https://indianastateparks.reserveamerica.com
No it's a bring your own. Brown county is the only as far as I know that rents, but tippy has great horse trails...
I'm not quite what a property Aires is. But you can "go to getting catfish" anywhere in the park. I would recommend in the river though.
This is a state park- no seasonal camping. There is seasonal camping at Broken Arrow on hwy 35 just south of the state park.
There's a place called Tippy Canoe about a mile down the road, that's probably your best bet for rental.
There was a reserved hunt draw for our park, but the deadline has already passed (Aug. 20). You can find out more about reserved hunts at https://www.in.gov/dnr/fishwild/5834.htm. For other hunting locations, we recommend you check out DNR's interactive map at https://www.in.gov/dnr/fishwild/5427.htm. Thank you for your inquiry.
Like all state parks they sell firewood. Its available near the campground gatehouse.
If I remember correctly it's just under $50 with included fees.
Cheap at twice the price
There are options..you'll just have to contact the park for more specific details.
Thanks everyone it's going to be fun
