I absolutely love this place and what they do. The prices are so reasonable, and the vet really cares about our sweet furry friends and does an excellent job. She is very professional and explains everything so well. If you want your furbabies in good hands with expert care, come here.

Very upset by my denial of spaying my puppy. I did not notice when she got into her first heat. $50.00 non-refundable. It's a rip off. Only two dogs per visit and a huge amount of cats.

Received a SNIP voucher after conversations on how to proceed with our SNIP coordinator. Discussed the fact with the SNIP coordinator that the cat found our home, had kittens, and we wanted to get her spayed asap and the kittens when they reach 3 lbs. Went this morning with mother cat in a crate that was within the required measurements. Was abruptly told by dr that I needed to put her in a different crate, no reason given, and that no one would assist me and if I incurred scratches, it was not their fault. After getting cat into their crate and returning to line, they asked about her age and last heat date and when I said she had had kittens approximately 12 weeks prior, I was informed that they would not proceed because they only use external sutures and cats who have had kittens need internal sutures and then asked if I can afford to use my own vet for this procedure. That's not the point, they are supposed to provide low cost spay services for EVERYONE! NO where on their website does it mention not spaying cats who have had kittens. My neighbor who has utilized this service 3 times (for females who have had kittens) was never told what I was told today. Very aggravated with the service (NONE PROVIDED) and the rude attitude of the staff. Other reviews reflect the same bad attitude from the staff. Beware! Regarding her lying response below, she stated the exact opposite regarding the stiches this morning!! She said they DO NOT do internal stitches, only external stitches and it would be a danger to the cat and we should see our own vet. The crate we used have been used by us for many years for transport of small dogs and cats and it has a strong spring loaded latch that NO ANIMAL could get unlatched! Not sure why these people have to lie about what happened, maybe to cover up their incompetence?? Read ALL the reviews on Google, they are not good. Seek other SNIP agencies in Broward before going here. Still disgusted with the (non) service. Good luck in the future, you'll need it. And learn some social skills so you don't insult your customers! An update...called Animal Aid on Prospect Road when we were turned away from PPC and they had some opening for the following day. NO rules, very nice people and very kind. Mama kitty was spayed that Saturday and we picked her up late in the afternoon. NO issues, used our crate with NO questions. EXCELLENT Service, SNIP voucher accepted and NO charge to us. Make sure you check them out before going to the rude, uncooperative people at Pet Population control. BTW, PPC stills needs to refund our $25 deposit. Have asked them for it and got NO response. Idiots! They should be shut down!

They don’t answer phones call. My dog was 12 pounds weight and upon arrival they rejected her saying she was fat. they did not return the money you have to pay for make an appointment, even though the cancellation was his fault and not ours. I’ll never come back
