The quality of the video transfer was awful. The tracking needed adjustment and sound was poor. There may be some embedded watermarking from the original videos. It was cheap and fast.

I had a complicated project that Mr. Hale handled like the seasoned professional that he is. He responded to every request and question, did his work very quickly, and charged a very affordable price for his work in this marketplace. I wish there were more vendors out there like him. On a scale of 1 to 10, he is a 12! My very highest recommendation.

Mr. Hale did a wonderful job converting all our old family videos to digital. Most of them I have never seen before and it was amazing to discover long forgotten memories. I dropped off the tapes on a Monday and he was done two days later. They turned out beautiful and my only regret is that we didn’t do this years ago!

Richard converted some video-8 and VHS tapes from my childhood for me. They turned out great, and I’m now happily sharing with friends and family. His rates were very reasonable, and incredibly it only took him a few days. I looked into some of the bigger companies, but I could never get clear answers on their cost, format, etc. It was much faster and easier to go through Richard.

I am currently loaded up until Christmas. You might give Jeff a call ( (801) 562-0625) at TIME MACHINE. I charge 10¢ per video minute recorded on the tape plus the cost of the media to store it on. 🎬 Richard 801-610-4040 Hale Video 🌈In God We Trust. The price for transferring to h.264 mp4 computer files your VHS/8mm Videocassettes runs 10¢ per each video content minute plus the media to store it on. Example: A videocassette with 63 minutes of recorded video would cost $6.30 plus $2.00 for a each DVD data optical disk to store it on (can be a playable DVD or computer files or both). A DVD Disk holds aproximately 3 hours of video. YOU ALSO HAVE THE OPTION OF STORING THE FILES ON THUMB DRIVES OR HARD DRIVE WHICH YOU CAN FURNISH OR PURCHASE FROM ME. You pay postage both ways. I bill through PayPal. 2X2 35mm slides costs 20¢ each scanned to 2000DPI jpeg. It is possible to rearrange your files in a new order on a DVD after the initial transfer. I'd suggest getting them on a thumb drive - these mp4 files you could easily rename/edit on your computer, etc. and then if you'd like make DVDs from them - or - just distribute the mp4 files which can be played on a computer/uploaded to the internet and mobile devices.
