The bag policy is very strict. There is limited parking so most of the parking is far down the street. We walked all the way to the venue then had to walk all the way back because of the arbitrary bag policy. Many other people at the show had the same thing happen to them and there were arguments and general bad vibes for what was supposed to be a fun comedy show. The security people were aggressive and rude. I understand it probably sucks for them to be the bearers of bad news but It definitely should’ve been handled better. Perhaps the reason for the bag ban is that the seats are jammed very close together and the aisles are cramped and claustrophobic. Another problem is that there is a traffic jam of people walking down the stairs to leave as another wave walks up to use the bathrooms on the second floor. This venue gets an extra star because of the location. Lots of good restaurants and shops around.

The theater itself was great, however, the security team they hire to work events is very rude. I believe it was Securitas. The theater staff are also very inconsistent and discriminate whether they follow their policies based on the customer. We were not allowed in with a small tote bag (which we could have folded up into a 5 inch square) after the people in front of us were given a "pass" with large bags. When asked if they would let us in if we could fit the tote bag into my friend's bag that was an acceptable size to the theater they told us "since we know that you plan to do that, we will not let you in." It would benefit the staff to be trained in using common sense to problem solve when working with paying customers. Because of this experience, I will not be paying to see shows at this theater ever again.

Masks are required at all times unless actively eating or drinking.
There is a box office
Proof of vaccination or negative covid test within 48 hours. Also, they require you to wear a mask unless actively eating or drinking but they didn't really enforce this rule.
Yes, this event has been rescheduled to October 7, 2021. All tickets will be honored for the new date.

Street parking is available in Montclair. If you are parking on a street in and around the Wellmont Theater, please be respectful of our neighbors. We like them and so should you 😊. Please obey any posted signage. Metered parking is in effect from 8AM to 7PM Monday through Saturday. Parking is free after 7PM Monday through Saturday and free all day Sunday. Off-Street Parking During Construction: Free parking is available for ticket purchasers at Lackawanna Station (East side of Grove Street behind TD Bank) on show nights.
There are no ticket fees in person at our box office.
Call them
The last time we visited the Wellmont, due to nearby construction, we found the parking lot had been reduced to a point of near uselessness. We ended up parked on a residential street about 6 blocks away. I did see signs for paid parking, which I had never seen when we visited the place many time prior. I assumed the paid parking was folks taking advantage of the situation. I don't live nearby and don't know what the future plan for the parking lot is, but we will likely not visit the Wellmont in the future unless a very desirable show plays or we are able to determine the parking situation first. I'm sorry that this doesn't directly answer your question, but since some parking still exists, at least when we were last there, I think it's very likely that some handicapped parking is available.
Depends on the show
Unfortunately, sounds like you might have to wait til they're open. Call their direct line when they're open and management should be able to help.
No she doesn't. Parking is truly a headache in the area so leave early.
I recommend checking the website.
I believe so. Check the website.
I don't think so
Look up the collection link attached to you confirmation notification
Since they serve alcohol and some band might be a mature rating i would call the box office just to be sure.
Wrong place to address your issues. You meed to speak to the venue itself.

If you can Uber, do it. Street parking fills up quickly, as do the garages.
