As you drive in, there is a board that tells you the stations. Just make sure the worker at the ticket booth tells you what screen you're going to instead of just giving directions.

I have always just tried to get there about an hour before dark. Never had to wait behind more than 3 cars and never had a hard time finding a good spot.

As far as I can tell you, unless they changed the rules this year, we would be in line (to sell) at 6:30 am., they opened at 7:00 am letting people in
