Last summer there were flyers up for it. I think your chances are high.
You can just pay per visit, but membership is very affordable, specially if you live within their boundaries or your there is a major corporation employee within your family group; they have discounted rates for those cayegories. And, membeeship includes every day use and lots of free classes.

Occasionally, if you pay for a membership I have seen other places make an exception here and there for friends and family. It might be worth a call if you have a membership. If you are visit by visit you will both have to pay though.

I bought a one year pass two years ago. I believe it was $240. If you want access to all SL County rec centers, I believe it's an extra $30/year.
They have different pricing based on different types of memberships and different payment options. Your best bet is to go in and ask one of the receptionists for information on the memerships and then you can choose the best option for you, your schedule, and your finances.
