I woud say better look for the best apartments. This apt is newly constructed and has all good facilities which is pretty good but the staff is very very unresponsive. Have been trying to reach them since last 2 weeks everytime to discuss about the leasing policy and application norms as we live in a different state and unable to visit in person but everytime it hits voice mail and they never return back. I am fed up of reaching them and now I have given up myself with not to proceed further. Never seen such kind of staff anywhere. I would say No and never recommend on proceeding with leasing on such apartment. 8 months of stay was horrible after signing the lease. Want to give 0 star but have no option for that. Old sheet carpets and the walls were ripping off even u dont touch it and the cabintes wre low standards. They charged heavy for keeping boxes in the patio which i dont understand what their problem is if we keep boxes in patio and even for trash: basically their aim is to charge for every small things trying to get advantage of us. Before vacating we gave the house with fully cleaned house but they charged 250$ for paint and home cleaning: very rude and unresponsive staff: would never recomment this apartment to anyone. They are just trying to show off the exterior but interior of the house is not upto the standards.

The walls in the hybrid apartment we lived is were cheap, anything from the slightest made them peel which surprised us since we never hung anything up and also because the apartment was brand new when we moved in. Some of the cabinets would not close all the way. The staff hardly answered the phone when I would need to talk to them which was very frustrating to deal with especially during the move out process. They charge you for a cleaning fee and paint fee that comes out of your deposit in the end which I think is frustrating. They only allow 2 visitors per apartment and they’re very strict. The cleaning in the halls and elevator were done horribly. Just leaving my HONEST experience from living there for 13 months.

I would never recommend this place to anyone to live. When you get a tour they show you it is the best place to live but once you live here you realize it is not worth it. The facilities, especially the carpets are very dirty. They charge an excessive amount of extra maintenance because they supposedly clean "5 days a week" but since we moved in November 2021 they have not cleaned the staircase D at the entrance. Since the summer started the smell is unbearable, there is dog urine on every step and they have never done anything about it. The pool, on several occasions, was closed for up to a week for maintenance because there were residents who kept coming in with glass bottles. There are always people drinking alcohol on the weekends, even when there are minors in the pool area. Upper West always sends emails notifying residents that they have taken care of these issues, but they never do. On one occasion I booked the 2nd floor room for $250 for 4 hours, that's what Upper West charges, and as soon as we went downstairs to decorate the room, we noticed it was really dirty with Coke spilled all over the floor, balloons, confetti, fruit and crumbs on the kitchen counter and on the floor. i spent 1 hour cleaning up to greet our guests and then another hour picking up the trash. At the end of the day, we only used the room for 2 hours and paid $250. I used to use the Upper West covered parking garage, which charges $65 per car. I used the parking lot for 5 months since I requested it. One day I came home and my spot was being used. I wrote an email complaint to the Upper West management team, and one of the team members wrote back saying that they forgot to assign me the parking space. In an attempt to cover up their mistake, the management team member told me that I had never paid for it during the time I used the parking space and offered me a new space if I wanted to start paying, however, I noticed that my rent went down almost $70 once I said I didn't want a parking space. Upper West is the most expensive building I have ever seen for the few amenities it has. I should clarify that there is nothing fancy about this place. On the contrary, it is a very dirty place. On weekends there is usually noise until 3 am; this has never been regulated. It is normal to see the police on Saturday nights removing someone from the building for this very reason.

Everyone here is very nice and pleasant to work with, especially Stephanie and Liz. Julio, our maintenance guy, is a Rock Star! Always on top of all requests I submit.
