It's never nice to see the toilet bowl fill up and not empty. Then see the backup flow up into the shower floor. I used the plunger, but fairly quickly knew that it was time to call Saffer. I got scheduled that afternoon around 4. I got a call around 2 saying they could come early. Sure. An hour and 15 minutes later, the roots they pulled out of the drain was the problem. $600. A good price for the expertise and work done.

Dale was AMAZING! Very methodical in his approach to analyze where the water was coming from in my basement. In the end it was a backed up sewer line. He suggested calling Baltimore City to see if the blockage was from the cleanout to the water main first. If the clog was there it's B-more city's responsibility to clear. He also gave me an estimate for cleaning/repairing if repair needed to be done on my end. It wasn't cheap, but less expensive than some of the quotes my neighbors received from other vendors. In the end, the blockage was on the city side. But that said, I have used Saffer for many projects including new hot water heater and other misc. plumbing projects. I would use them again in a heartbeat. And Saffer, make sure you acknowledge the professionalism and knowledge-base Dale has. He's a true asset to your organization. Renee
