Can’t go there and utilize our annual pass due to the outdoor pool closing at 5. The hours show that it’s still open until 10pm (today 8.3.2022). They say they may extend the hours next year, but what do I do about the significant cost of my large family membership that was essentially wasted?

It really is too bad that this facility is one of Salt Lake County’s only outdoor swimming pools. It does not seem to be managed well at all. It’s a beautiful place but when we bought our passes we didn’t realize their hours would be so limited. You better not have a day job if you want to swim here because the pool is only open until 5 most of the time, and those hours are subject to change without notice. 🤦🏼♀️ They blame it on a lifeguard shortage but at this point why not let the public sign a waiver that we are willing to swim at our own risk so we can enjoy our public swimming pool that we pay for… or at least have consistent hours that are updated so people don’t waste their time when it says “open until 10pm” on Google. 🤷♀️ I guess multiple complaints only deserve the solution to “call ahead” and to check the website for hours that literally change all the time.. Which is so weird since the other locations can figure out how to stay open until 7 so why can’t this one?

They are open on Sunday!! Different areas for the kids to explore. Nice view from outside pool.

No it will not be open this year because of the city building a rec center including the pool

I believe the website may be accurate. We were able to book a couple of times right when it opened.
It was originally scheduled for early 2020
You should call before you made a trip out there LOL
It's closed 2019 for remodeling according to the website.
Or check with salt lake county recreation. For draper
13 feet is the deepest it gets
The are always a few short lanes open for lap swimming when the pool is open for everyone.
I believe the last year they did that was 2011.
Idk the last one but it opens at twelve for recreational swimming
There is one pool but there is a "beach" area for kids. This is a fun pool for kids. There are also diving boards.
It's an outdoor pool. The 25-yard set of lanes is in the 4-5' section. Mornings the Olympic set goes from 3' to deep end where the diving pool is.
