ETG is a nice, quiet coffeehouse with all the books and record albums the curious shopper or collector could desire. The coffee drinks and baked desserts are also excellent. I love ETG.

Just a unique place on the Island

Hidden gem. Stumbled in by accident, had a great time and got a very good coffee and of course some amazing books. It's not too stuffed with articles so it's quality before quantity. The quiet atmosphere makes it very comfortable and you can definitely take your time and browse around a bit.

Sometimes, check website for book categories, call ahead to see what they'll take.

Hi! Thank you! Please check this page linked below for a list of the kinds of books we are accepting at this time. PLUS we can't take large quantities now, so please if you can, give a call to the book manager KATIE before showing up with them. Again, thank you :-) Sorry, Google wont let me post the link. Go to the ETGstores (dot) com bookcafe and click on the link for BOOKS. THANKS!!
They do if the books are stuff that sells. Most of their books are donations
You could call them and ask for suggestions. You could try Strand in Manhattan, but they were overstocked last time I was there.
Depending on rarity and/or demand, there is a possibility you can sell it here (ETG Cafe) however overall selling books to libraries are hard. You can always set up a Yard Sale, however I recommend you donate the books instead.
