lived here for a year and a half (oct 2020- april 2022). the staff is kind enough and the neighbors are nice. the elevators can be reaaaallly slow sometimes but they're ok for the most part. i saw people complaining about construction a lot, but in all honesty, since I moved there I've only heard work being done maybe once or twice. the reviews made it seem WAAAAY worse than it actually was. i also saw a few roaches when I lived there, but not a lot. that's just the reality of living in NYC lol!! the laundry rooms are very convenient and I only had an issue once with having to run to the other one for a dryer since all were filled. overall, i enjoyed my time at the Drake! It's a fine building in a good location.

Nothing like the pics!!! Much more "USED" or "LIVED IN" than portrayed. Unfriendly neighborhood and the person that's supposed to show the apt.'s flaked claiming we didn't verify. I have emails saying we did. Front desk was friendly and helpful though, I'll give them that.

Rodents issue remains same. The exterminator comes every week to poison the apartment but obviously apartment is not the source of problem, nothing has been changed for months. Non stop construction loud. I’m not gonna say renovation, it is literally construction! Impossible to stay indoor.
