terrible. my friend was admitted for reasons she does not understand. all 3 psychiatrists that evaluated her believed that she should be admitted for a week even though she has no plan to carry out any harmful thoughts on herself. they spoke to her mother who already does not care for her daughter at all ALONE WITHOUT MY FRIEND TO SPEAK FOR HERSELF. her mom could’ve said anything about her daughter and overdramatise things (which she would absolutely do). it’s disgusting and ridiculous that people we trust to listen to us couldn’t even listen to my friend and instead listened to her mom who practically abuses her mentally everyday. they also made her wait in the waiting room for all day and all night. she was there since 11am yesterday and did not get a room until just recently. i understand some people need to be forced to get help, but my friend was forced by her mom to be admitted without any reason at all.

My daughter is a patient in the crisis unit and I was denied visitation because the visitation policy was not explained to me. I waited in the parking lot and called the manager but waited on hold for 15 minutes and she never answered. I am disgusted by this facility. What kind of operation are you running?! Additionally, I brought her food and that was denied as well. When I spoke to the manager on hand, she was rude and not helpful at all. I am livid. My daughter is battling mental health and to be denied access to her mother is beyond disgusting.

I was accused of a crime and threatened with arrest at this place. When confronted, I asked for the evidence and they had none. They proceeded to mock and belittle both me and my religious beliefs right to my face.

My son has struggled with alcoholism. He just turned 36. He has been unable to hold a position for any real length of time for about a year now. We paid his COBRA but as of July 1, 2018. Is there an IOP program for one with no resources?
