I took my child to Tri-County in Cedar Knolls on Saturday, 9/17, for a severely torn hip flexor and groin. My child could barely walk. We arrived a little before 4pm; the walk-in hours close at 5pm. Upon entering, we were told that they were at full capacity and turned us away. I inquired about how they can turn a child (who is in pain and cannot walk) away during their public walk-in hours and I was informed that it's just what the physician on call said to do - close the doors. Unethical and unacceptable.
