While the girl handling my direct shoes and helping me was polite and informative enough (this is why I gave it one star). I found the rest of the staff to be loud, intrusive and put me off to the whole shopping experience at this very small store. The mirrors are tilted so you can't really tell how you look. The other staff seems to be breathing down your neck and won't give you the required time and space to make a buy. I don't want to be rushed when trying on shoes and boots with this price point. In addition each style had me at a different size--so sizing is inconsistent and there are no half sizes which makes sizing even more difficult. You end up having to wear really thick socks if you don't want the shoes to rub against your heel. I gave up and went to DSW where the selection is smaller but at least you can try your boots on in peace without staff looking at you, There were a lot of workers in that small store and they made tons of noise-- I couldn't even think. Go to Urban Outfitters or pretty much anywhere else and try these shoes on in peace. There also seemed to be no manager there to keep workers in line and act professional--very disappointed in this store. The other reviews seem fake or maybe I went on a bad day or hour.

I’m sure sales teams don’t hear it very often enough. Hopefully I can share some positive words of encouragement. On June 14, 2022 I visited the 868 Broadway NYC. Some medical friends suggested I check out Dr. Martens because I had reconstructive food surgery and needed deep and well supportive shoes and that some of the shoes might work well with my special shoe inserts. So, I got to the store [I haven’t been in a Dr. Martens in multiple decades] and thought I might be a fish out of water because it had been so long, and styles have changed. To my pleasant relief, both Diana & Kevin where kind with pleasant demeanors, courteous, thoughtful, helpful and I felt like a long-time regular customer. Diane helped me find the best shoe that would work for my lifestyle and walked out a happy customer! Talk about going the extra mile…. I still have a little trouble walking so they offered to ship the shoes to help me out. I won’t hesitate to visit that store again the next time I’m in NYC. PS: The shoes got to my house in CT before I did!
