Does anyone know if it is legal to carry a handgun (not concealed) in the open ( ie in a holster but not concealed)?

As far as I know you are ok as long as your firearms are in plain sight. I have been laid up for a while so I am not current. You might attend a club meeting...there you will benefit from from a wealth of information from the membership. A great bunch of guys and gals!! As soon as my health improves that's my first stop!!
