Great hike. Took the Indian trail up and the other easier trail down. Lot of climbing but great hike. A 5 years old GR dog did it with a breeze

You can camp here. Check Maine State Parks for information on reservations. After labor day it’s first come first serve I believe. The campsites are just over a two mile hike from where the shuttle drops you off and it’s only accessible by shuttle or personal water craft. Check schedule of shuttles through the Mt. Kineo Golf Course. There are no playgrounds and the toilets are pit toilets in the woods. No showers.
