Easy check-in. Loved that last names were on the board. Majority of employees were friendly. Kayla was exceptional!! She always went the extra mile and was amazing - 10 stars for her! Matt at the bar was amazing too! Provided very descriptive explanations of the brew and friendly to all of us! Dan at the bar was brilliant too! John on WWR was very thorough in his check in. Drew was the best wwr guide. Food overall was good. Cons - mattresses were horrible! everyone fell to the middle - maybe there was no box springs?? Didn't have enough wait staff - we get that though -COVID. There was gum and hair in the hot tub - super gross and kids had blow up floaties in the hot tub

Our family has been coming to Raft with Northern Outdoors for over 12 years now! I have a huge fear of water but As soon as I’m in Northern Outdoors hands, I am immediately calmer. The staff makes you feel incredibly safe while having an intense, thrill-seeking , adventure through the beautiful sites of Maine. They spend a lot of time on safety training and thoroughly go over it to ensure you feel comfortable and to keep yourself and others safe. They are amazing at checking your PFD. you can hit some intense waves with a huge smile on your face! Very professional guides who make the 7-3 trip AMAZINGLY FUN! We come from Massachusetts, it’s worth your while If your nervous about your kids safety, please DONT BE! they are beyond save with trained professionals and will giggle the whole way through

We ate dinner here, and it was so good! The atmosphere was fun, the staff was so friendly, and the food was delicious. Their beer was also so good! There is so much to do here besides eat, like renting a snowmobile, going whitewater rafting, playing arcade games, hanging out in the hot tub, and honestly so much more. I highly recommend stopping by here if you are in the area!

My friends and I stayed at the cabins this past chilly weekend, and our car got stranded on one of the trails. Luckily, the folks at Northern Outdoors were able to come fetch us on the trail and get us back to the cabins safely. We super appreciate the attentive detail and customer service at N.O., and the cabins were well equipped and well-designed. We highly recommend the stay in this part of Maine and hope to visit again under better circumstances!

Austin: We run the Dead River as a one-day trip. You can book a cabin or a campsite the night before or after at our lodge in The Forks. You could also add a second day of rafting by doing the Kennebec River the day before or after the Dead River. Feel free to give us a call at 207.663.4466 if you have any additional questions.
