Catfish pieces used to be big, thick, meaty and so big they practically fell over edge of plate, as a lot of their "catfish" pictures show ...but in reality under new ownership,...the catfish is paper thin, and only 4 inches. Basically 2 bites worth per piece. NOT worth what you pay. Waitresses are always pretty fast and friendly even during busy times. Beans are never salted...you gotta do that yourself but that's ok. Hush puppies are top notch. The water always tastes terrible. Bring your own water bottle...thank me later. Wish the catfish actually was as big and meaty as pictures show because I really wanna like this place. Oh...the menu prices are outdated....so be prepared to pay more when you get the bill. They need to print updated menus, even if just on cardstock paper

Great local restaurant. My husband said rhe fried cat fish was great. I had a grilled chicken salad. Chicken was tender and juicy. Prices are different than posted on menu. You have no idea pricing unless you ask on every item.

This is not fancy dining. It is just really good country food, at a fair price. All you can eat hush puppies and white beans. Fried fish was excellent. Deserts are spot-on as well.

What an awesome place. Great food AND they give you plenty to eat. Our waitress was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The all you can eat beans and hush puppies were so good. And the fish was wonderful! If you like blackened fish theirs is the best! We will be back!

Most days they open ay 4. Depending on time of year they may not be open at all on Wed,. Check their web page or Facebook for current hours.
With that many people, I would also suggest calling and letting them know you are coming. They are capable of handling it all though.
I believe it is 2. Of course if you are inside they will not throw you out or anything like that. I think the 2 is their general lock door for coming in time. Of course they will be glad to let you know if you call, they open at 4 on Fri & Sat.
Check their web page for current hours, they often are closed Mon & Tues. Of course holidays do make a difference.
