Let me preface this review with the fact that we are foodies. I was visiting family members in the area and they recommended we eat here so we all went down for a late breakfast. The restaurant is set in an idyllic setting with a beautiful sunrise over the lake. As you walk onto the barge there is a little food dispenser. Spend the .25 to feed the turtles because they are so precious and it is such a sweet moment to spend with the family and friends. Once inside there is a nice bait/gift shop and the restaurant. My family recommended the benedict dish so I decided to give it a try. This dish is big enough to split between 2 and I am a big eater. The sausage in this dish is delicious (and I am not a big lover of breakfast sausage). I was told they make this sausage here at the restaurant and it is probably the best I have ever had. Everyone at breakfast was very happy and full at the end of the meal. I hope to return soon, it was that good!! As with everyplace right now do yourself the favor of calling and making sure they are open as it seems businesses all over are having a hard time keeping staff to stay open. Just call before you go, don't trust google, Facebook, or anything else. Just call then go because it was a very sweet spot you will not be disappointed!!

Lunch was awesome. Their Patty Melt was really good. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was great. The amount of onion rings you get was easy more than 2 people could eat

We had lunch here under the new ownership/management and can't say enough good things about the experience! We were seated promptly and greeted by the waitress in a timely manner. Our food came out without a lengthy wait, and it was hot! No lukewarm fries! We had chicken strips and a burger and were very pleased with the quality and the taste. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work! We'll be back!

Great little place to go! Good food and kind people. My baby, who is nearly 2, was crying her little eyes out and Cindy, the owner, brought her ice cream then gave us bread to go outside and feed the fishes and turtles. It cheered my girl right up and made such a big difference in our experience. How could I not give a 5 star review after such thoughtful service? That's the kind of thing that makes all the difference. Thanks, Cindy. <3
