For Peruvians and people who have traveled to Lima, Peru, they must know how you can find a Rotisserie Chicken place almost anywhere in Lima, like, it'd be a 5 minute walk from wherever you are, and if you want to remember the taste of a good peruvian rotisserie chicken, then El Tambo Grill is your choice. Located in the Sunset Dr. (72nd street) and 117th Avenue, this place prepares one of the best (if not the best) Peruvian rotisserie chicken (in Spanish Pollo a la Brasa) in Miami. Eating in this place won't be a disappointment, a must go for everyone who loves Peruvian food, specially Pollo a la Brasa. Edit: it's been a while since I visited El Tambo, 2 years since my last review, and the score remains the same for me. 5 stars, great menu, the pollo a la brasa still great, the size of the plates is amazing, and the price is good. Definitely one of the best Peruvian restaurants of Miami, where you can actually eat Peruvian food. I've been in other places that said we're Peruvian restaurants but their food packed the Peruvian touch that would leave you satisfied, not El Tambo though, you'll definitely be satisfied eating here.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND coming here. My family and I sent back two desserts we purchased but didn't consume because the taste was not good (we are Peruvian). Besides that we purchased other dishes that we were pleased with and didn't send back. The manager YELLED AT US and told us to leave when we asked for reimbursement for the two desserts we didn't consume. The cahier asked us to step aside, didnt listen to our concerns, and ignored us. I never felt so mistreated at a restaurant as I felt here. HORRIBLE horrible customer service. This is an EMBARRASING representation of peruvian cuisine and hospitality.

In this place the food is not bad, but if you arrive half an hour before closing they won't let you eat there, they tell you that you can only buy "to go", the problem is that the "to go" food brings half of the ration Normal, I will never go back. I stood around for 20 minutes waiting for my 2 full chickens take out order to be ready (after I had called 20 minutes before) and the whole time it was sitting there ready in the bag. The girl kept telling me she would call me when it was ready but never dead. Finally when she was calling numbers 20+ after mine I got frustrated and told her to double check. It was sitting right in front of her. Now I am home eating cold plastic-tasting chicken!
