We tried to come last week, since the menu looks great, but it was closed. There was no sign up, just dark lights and a locked door. Today we tried again, with no luck ordering online, we called ahead. They answered and said they would be open until 4 — great news for us!! Excited for good vegan lunch food, we were disappointed. When we arrived, there was a person sitting outside eating which gave us hope! And when we got inside there was nobody at the counter and no information about how we might be able to order. After waiting 5 minutes, no Broadfork staff appeared, so we left. As we passed by the patio we asked the other lunch eater if they knew how to order. It turned out the person eating on the patio was the only employee and they were on their break. While we certainly understand the need for employees to get rest and personal time, we wish to have known the full situation rather than arriving hungry, waiting and wondering if today might be the day we finally get to try the food. At this point, we’ve been disappointed by the communication and closure at Broadfork twice and would warn others against making plans to eat this location.

Im so confused. The photos online are not of the cafe and food that was at this location. Overall it was a sad experience and I’m disappointed that we wasted one of our few meals in Seattle here. The cafe was staffed by one server by them self and they seemed pretty unhappy. The food was pretty sad, mushy rice, bitter tahini sauce, and a burnt lentil burger.

I ordered Oat milk chai latte and it was terrible! I paid extra for oat milk and still it was very watery. The taste was not good, it was like drinking a sugary & watery drink. Previously I used to love their Chai here, I don't know what has changed now but the quality has gone down :(

I am visiting Seattle, WA for work. My coworkers took me out for a couple more drinks than I'm used to last night so I needed a serious breakfast and the Mexican omelet was PERFECT. Friendly attentive service, nice hot coffee, fantastic all around!

We are temporarily closed right now. When we reopen, we will publish our safety practices. Stay safe!!
New owner. Still looks like they are keeping the same vibe though
We have outdoor seating for people with pets. And of course, service animals are always welcome anywhere!
I too am I on a low sodium lifestyle. Only occasionally do I come across something at Chaco Canyon that's too salty. It's usually the soups. They're definitely not as salty as most of the restaurants around.
