Decent campsite, sites are relatively spaced apart. Entrance is not marked and can be difficult to spot. The restroom is clearly not maintained, as posted.

Near the road, but it's not busy. Plenty of camping spots with a central toilet. Cool abandoned building to explore, lovely river and calling insects to help you sleep.

Great spot! There is a bathroom. Everyone was really quiet. The river sounds made for a very peaceful sleep.

Questions & Answers

Do you have to make a reservation, or is it first come first serve? What is the nightly cost? I've been here quite a few times but just stopped in to look at the abandoned building. Thinking about doing an overnighter.

I can not find any information on this campground online. Location? Cost? Fires allowed? Dogs allowed? Link to a site with information maybe?

By the old Icehouse, just North of Klickitat 2-3 miles on the main highway. Primitive with a vault toilet, no fees, digs and campfires are mo problem. A nice free campground on the edge of the Klickitat River. Quite nice, really!
