We ate dinner at Il Bel Lago for our ladies book club. Great ambience in the dinning room. I noticed a more casual area near the bar with lots of seating. There are several areas that can accommodate larger groups for celebrations and business lunches. I ordered the ceasar salad, fusilli pasta, mascato, and raspberry sorbet. Very delicious! Attentive wait staff.

We had 6:30 reservations. When we first arrived the other half of our party had already been seated, while we waited for a host the manager walked by several times seating other people without acknowledging the people waiting to be seated. They said they couldn't find the reservation so we went into the restaurant and found our party ourselves. Then we waited a ridiculous amount of time to be served drinks. They got some drinks wrong and took a really long time to get the correct drinks to us. My friend got a salad that was missing a bunch of ingredients. We sent it back and it came out wrong again. We waited until after 8 to be served our food, others who had been seated after us were already eating. After complaining to the manager it was clear the manager was completely blaming the waiter and the waiter the entire time kept telling us he couldn't control the bar or kitchen. No one wanted to take responsibility, it was painful to listen to. They brought us dessert to make up for the horrible experience when really we just wanted to leave. Totally horrible service, great food.

Love this place! Great atmosphere. Excellent service. Ask for Gina at the bar. Amazing drinks. Fabulous food. High end, dining and great date night. Gorgeous private room for parties. We sat at the bar and had drinks and apps. Can't wait to go back for a full meal!

Rating: 4.8 Stars This was my first trip to Il Bel Lago, and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the Lasagna, and it was absolutely fantastic. The sauce was sweet, and meat had great flavor and was not too salty. The cheese was tasty, and the basil added a lot of flavor. Additionally, the flat pasta was superbly cooked. The components of this Lasagna complimented each other perfectly. Lastly, I absolutely loved the generous portion. I also had two glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon, and it was good. I was here to give a lecture, and I had to wait to eat my meal. They kindly delayed brining my order out until after the talk, which was greatly appreciated. The waiter was very attentive. I look forward to coming back here with a date (if I can find one).
