What is this? We dropped our pup off to get just a normal groom, we wanted the ears trimmed and his sanitary area taken care of. 3 hours later I go to pick him up — without being able to take a close look at him because he’s anxious, and when I get home it’s a choppy mess. It looks like scissors were just taken to his fur and chops were made wherever. There’s no blending whatsoever and it’s so short in some areas and close to the skin that even if we were to “fix it”, it wouldn’t do any good for him. I’m very disappointed as many have said they have good experiences here. I’m not sure if it was a lack of knowledge/technique or a lack of time as the groomer had 3 other dogs there too, but I’m very sad for my pup. I guess you live and you learn. The second photo is a reference photo of him from when he was groomed somewhere else previously. I showed her this photo and she made it seem like it was something easily done so we were confident going into the appointment.
