We walked this trail the morning after about a foot of snow dropped. Other than a few other walkers and the occasional skiier it was perfectly quiet save for some ducks and the river. I imagine it would be just as peaceful on a warm summer evening

That's correct. It's maintained by the Leavenworth Winter Sports club, along with a number of other trails in the area.
It's good because the water's mostly shallow but it's cold even in August, and still my kid spent a good amount of time splashing
Mountain biking and e-bikes have plenty of room. Motor bikes are not allowed. There is some grass area and lots of nature by the river. Two bridges. All beautiful and serene.

Definitely no snow yet. Late November is the earliest we'll see snow, mid to late December is far more likely
