Shortstac (shortstac)
One of the last overhead Truss Bridges in the nation and an interesting historical stop. Check out the historical monument under the west end. Historical marker number 131. Erected June 1st 1953, Mormon pioneer memorial bridge. This plaque serves as an official record of Mormon pioneer families who voyaged from Nauvoo Illinois to the Rocky mountains

Not much to say about it. It's a bridge. Recently repainted, I guess.

I'm so old I remember when the eastbound bridge was a toll bridge.

Can't get up to the shore. It's better for driving on than for walking under

It's open, but I29 is closed North of crescent
Paint it brown
Yes west bound bridge is closed. Possibly open again by 5:30 pm. Depends when deck repair is cured.
