I’ve used social media enough to know that 50% of the 5 star reviews are fake and created by someone at spark light to boost reviews. I just moved to Sioux City from sergeant bluff and I’ve never had worse internet service in my life. Works perfectly fine for half the day, then shuts off and doesn’t work for anywhere between 4-10 hours. Resetting does nothing, I’ve even had workers say they “fixed my issue” twice. They switched out my modem only as morality because it was obvious they had no clue what the problem was. Here I am 10 hours after they switched out my modem and “solved the issue”, experiencing another internet black out that I can only assume will last hours. Lived in sergeant bluff for 9 years and landlines never had any issue besides when a transformer was hit or a severe storm shut the entire town down,(which happened maybe three times tops). 9 years no issue, but with spark light, I’m experiencing my 7th outage in the 2 weeks I’ve had spark light internet. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who actually uses the internet for more than just tv. I look forward to calling them for the 3rd time in 3 days to complain about an issue they “fixed” twice already.

It is impossible to speak to someone local. I have to cancel service on my moms house because she passed away. No one can tell me what equipment I need to return and they don't appear to have hours outside my work day to stop in and ask. So thankful we live outside Sparklight territory.
