Nice friendly staff at a hotel restaurant. The food was good. It was cooked while I waited. The sauces and seasonings were made in house which is always a plus. I will definitely eat my dinner at this restaurant again if I stay at the hotel attached.

This restaurant is connected to the Best Western Premier in Alton-like a hidden gem. We weren't guests at the hotel. It is a quiet place with friendly staff. We had the Salad with chicken and a couple of the Sliders with slaw. The sliders were amazing as was the salad. Overall, this was a great place with friendly staff, great food, and good prices.

We love this place! The variety of menu items is impressive, as is the quality. We've gotten quite a few different options and everything has always turned out great. Beer selection is pretty good as well. Love that you can find a few local brews next to the big dogs as well as some of the classier national brands (Abita, etc.). A little hard to find, but definitely worth it. Plus I like the novelty of looking out into the adjoined hotel lobby.

Took a chance on this place not knowing anything about it. Great Rivers was clean, modern and the staff was very friendly. I was very surprised with their menu and their on tap beer selection. The food was outstanding and the beers were cold and refreshing! I had the catfish tacos which were lightly breaded and the sour onions made it stand out. Try their loaded red potatoes. They were delicious!
