My family has been coming here for about 40 years, my whole life) and it’s a second home for me. I don’t live in NC anymore but when I come home every year, I’m down here for a week. This is a family oriented place where each condo is different and reflects the personality of the owner. You won’t get this experience at one of the larger resorts. When you pull in, you can feel it. It’s one of those places where time slows down and you can take a break from the hustle of everyday life. It’s a special part of my life and I love it.

Beautiful beach. Not crowded. The shops are great. Food alone was worth the 13 hour drive. Must Try Captain's Kitchen when you go!! It's a family favorite.

Only stayed here a week in an Airbnb, but this seems like a well-run complex in a great setting with a sparsely populated beach.

Hello Ida, this is the Webmaster for Colony by the Sea. From my understanding, this property is under new ownership, and have had their web services closed for a couple of years now. I am not sure if they are taking rentals at this time, but I hope you and your family have an enjoyable vacation this summer wherever you may end up :)
