Very professional caring facility...it is great for the patients they are the focus of everything ...this makes it so reassuring for the family and everyone can heal at one time. I cannot say enough about how wonderful it is..perfect like the name The Lighthouse.

I healed not entirely but a great bit in the time I was there, not just because of the treatment but because the staff and other patients bond I built. And I can't describe the feeling but I am so grateful, The Light House became a place you have as a haven, You'll miss the treatment and Its a place you'll miss the people but under the circumstances you'll be happy you don't see them again because it means you've gotten better.

EDIT 9/6/22: there’s no point in filling out their contact form. As you can see, they asked me to do so on 8/29. I filled out the form on 8/30. It has been a week and I never received a call or email. This review is meant for both the Medical Director mentioned below and the facility itself. I have seen close to 10 psychiatrists in my lifetime and this “medical director”—Rupa Shetty Ryba*, was by FAR the worst. Married to the former CEO of Lighthouse, Thomas Ryba, when she “treated” me (July ‘21). Questionable ethics aside: I have never seen someone in the mental health field have such a lack of compassion. I was vastly over medicated for someone my height and weight—doesn’t matter if I was in psychosis or not. My other doctors were astonished when they saw what strength of the med I was put on COMBINED with the long term shot that was given. I was basically catatonic until the shot wore off weeks later. If I would’ve continued to follow her shot/pill combo, I genuinely would’ve been unable to function in society. It’s important for me to add that I complained about trouble breathing constantly while I was there, but was not coherent enough to figure out why. Either way, no further treatment or testing was done for that. I tested positive for COVID as soon as a PATIENT from the facility called to tell me there was an outbreak after I left. The facility never notified me this themselves. I then had to be treated for COVID pneumonia before I went to long-term treatment, which could’ve been prevented if they were more vigilant while I was there. Shame on Rupa Shetty Ryba and Shame on Lighthouse Behavioral.

No..u dont understand..they are awful and drug dens are nicer and cleaner.. i had to send my mother and i swear to god i will never let someone else do that and not know the reality of the situation they are walking into or someone they love is...and that is this particular establishment should not have a license to run..its disturbing and horrifying that they are still able to have their doors open.
They had me drugged out of my mind and then yelled at me for not going to group due to being drugged out of my mind
My family did want me to know and it still took a week and me calling every number on staff...and btw NOBODY ever answered my calls or returned my calls. Finally they were well enough to get to a phone and call..after a week..so a week I had no sleep and was a mess..that's what happens when someone is brought in..
The fact that you have to ask that question
I agree. They do. They kept me for days without informing my guardian where I was and when I able to talk to them they said I used up too much time.
Hi, Lulu Taylor. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with your concerns. We take your comments very seriously and would like to learn more about your mother’s concerns. Due to federal patient privacy laws, we can only discuss care with a patient or guardian; however, we encourage your mother to reach out to us directly by visiting http://www.lighthousebehavioral.com/contact-us/. Again, thank you.
They say 3 to 7 but once you get in they say 5 to 7, some people had been there for 2-3 weeks
I got there at 11pm and there where like ok time to sleep
No
Yes
As with any mental health facility, it depends on how you arrived there, and what your mental condition is. If you are determined to be a threat to yourself or others, you will not be allowed to leave until the threat has passed. If you have been sent by the court system, you will not be allowed to leave until the court system allows it. If you have gone voluntarily, and do not meet any of the criteria above, then yes you can leave any time you like. The best way to ensure this is to make sure at least one family member or friend has your patient ID number and a right to review your medical notes. This way there is no HIPPA violation, and staff is required to inform someone on the outside of your status. Anyone who is dealing with any form of mental illness at any facility should have something in place prior to admittance to any location so that loved ones have a way of obtaining information and verifying treatment.
Why is it such a bad place
