I encourage anyone with interest in the Amish to visit the Illinois Amish Heritage Center. The restoration of two original Amish homes from the 1800s is ongoing. Follow their Facebook page for events. We are so blessed to have this center in this area so people have the opportunity to learn more about Amish history and culture.
