I absolutely love this store! Look, how you treat people, that says a whole lot about someone, and the people that work at dollar general on hwy13, they are the most generous, and helpful of all the stores I've visited, as well as clean.

Got there 5 minutes before closing (yes, i understand that’s frustrating but it was an emergency) and they wouldn’t let us in. So they should probably change their hours to 7am-9:50pm.

Not open on time. I looked up the time the store opens and arrived before the employee. Waited only to have the employee get there 3 min before store opening and then waited for the her to open the store. If the hours aren’t at 8 am, then don’t post 8 am. Then when I called past 8 to see if the store did open at 8 she bit my head off. Arrive early enough to open at the posted hour.

It was a good example of what the chain represents and I did not mind not finding the drano I needed. It looked like it was truck day and someone called in sick. In times like these I would rather make an extra stop on the way home over my bank account being drained out as quick as my backed up shower because someone showed up to work with dreaded covid.
