We went for the fireworks display. Overall, the park seems very nice. The bathrooms could use some updating (and toilet paper!)

No. It is a county forest preserve natural park with hiking trails, a small fishing lake, basic camping, and a small playground. (This is for Lodge Park in Piatt County Illinois.)
Tents are $10.00 per night. Some restrictions apply between June 20th and July 4th because of the fireworks display. More information can be had by calling the phone number. The staff is prompt and friendly.
We walk our dogs on leashes there all of the time. They are terrified of fireworks, so we've never taken them for July 4th.
