My first time visiting and It was a very cool experience!! It is a very Zen place to come and free your mind by yourself or with your family and kids!! There are easy trails and steeper trails, make sure to bring water and fruits ✨✨✨ The greeter and guider were very kind!

This was a fantastic time. There's so many beautiful plants, butterflies, flowers, trees, stream. It is free to enter. They do take donations so I recommend putting some cash in the drop slot. The staff was informative and friendly. Then stop for lunch or dinner across the way. Different types of bbq available and even a market with fruit, jams, baked goods, etc.

Loved it! Nice easy walk/hike to go with kids or grandkids or with the dogs. Well maintained. There's a couple of trails, one easy and the other one a bit harder with a little steep downhill/uphill. Relax and enjoy the nature walk.

Beautiful park in the hidden gem of Oak Glen. Trails are dog friendly and well maintained. Finding the trail heads from the parking area is slightly confusing if your there for the first time. Fortunately at the garden area there was a booth with maps. Make sure to leave yourself lots of time to explore oak Glen area aside from just the park. Everything is all kinda on a loop road so it's hard to get lost. But there are several other parks, many orchards, shops, restaurants, wine tasting and more all within a short distance of each other. And from what we experienced it's a dog friendly area so bring your pooches and have a great trip.

Many places to picnic. Just stop and ask anyone in an open business. Oak Glen is spread out along the main road and covers several miles of area, regardless of which entrance you enter from. Be sure to travel all of it or you will miss alot. Don't be mislead by the scenery and think you have covered all there is. When entering from Yucaipa, off Bryant ave, you will find orchards and alot of stores, eateries, a pirate show, very nice people, many businesses, etc..in a nice area all next to each other, & easy to see, & think you have seen it all, But there is more to see & enjoy beyond these great places. Be sure to continue further on along the road into the orchards and vegetation. The area is lovely & structures are spread out, spaced intermittently and not always obvious as they sit back from the road. Watch for small road friendly signs. You really need more than one day to get a taste of Oak Glen. Enjoy.
It depends what your doing , hiking, picnic or just going up for a pie and grab something to eat. They also have a maze. I say 3 to 4 hrs.
They have wonderful outside smoker BBQ with lunch and dinner served.
Hello! You are only able to access the preserve during open hours. Our hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm in the summer months. Winter months we close at 4:30 pm. Accessing the preserve after hours without permission will be considered trespassing.
No cost, just a request for donations, even a free ev car charger :D
Hello Christine, Oak Glen Preserve is open every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and unsafe conditions. We are currently open 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. Next month, our closing time will move to 4:30.
Yes. Currently open on the weekends.
Hello! Oak Glen Preserve is currently safe. The fire is burning in the Wilderness on the Yucaipa Ridge to the north of the Preserve. We have staff on site and monitoring the situation.
Hello! The lower sections of our trail system are still closed. We are working hard to make that section of the preserve safe for public enjoyment. The area was heavily damaged from a major winter storm on Thanksgiving.
Hello! We do provide spaces for photo sessions. If you are familiar with our preserve, our Oak Knoll Park and Children's Forest area is open to shoots. The rest of our trails and all apple orchards are off limits. We have a few rules to protect the preserve ecosystems including: you must stay in trail areas, no large props or decorating our trees, no tripods for cameras or external flashes, no harming any of the native plant life in any way, no blocking access/closing off portions of our trails or public areas during the shoot, sessions must be over 15 minutes before the preserve closes, and more! Feel free to visit us at our preserve office or the trail kiosk during the weekends to get a map and print out of the rules. You may also give us a call during the week at (909) 790-3698. Thank you!
I'm not sure but you can call them and ask

Hello Heather. There is snow at our Oak Glen Preserve. All of our trails are closed to the public due to safety hazards. Our Blue Sky Park, located in front of Riley's at Los Rios Rancho, is open for snow play when the ranch is open.
Not that I've seen At least not in Oak Glen itself.
Yes. Parking is free.
Yes, but the preserve itself is compacted dirt. A wheelchair could go into the lower walking path, but it's a slight incline
The snow fall in this area seldom will cause closure. Further up the mountain is an entirely different story.
Closes at 430pm
The normal trail is a 2 mile loop, but theres little side trails you can do to add distance and intensity.
Not sure specifically with this pandemic times
