Had a family reunion, and everyone enjoyed their stay at Shelby Inn. Sure, it's nothing fancy. It's a town of 5,000, and we're lucky to have them. They're clean rooms and reasonably priced.

Very nice place to stay and close to everything. The office hours are 7am to 9pm and if you can't be there then they have a special way to make sure you get your keys to your room. I don't want to put it on here so I don't spoil the surprise. The house has an unusual story that goes with the reason why it's on the national historic landmark registry. The people that run this motel are very friendly and very accommodating. I will stay here Everytime I go to Shelbyville.

I’ve stayed in a lot of different places over the years and this is honestly BY FAR the CLEANEST place I’ve ever stayed at!!! Also rooms have coffee pot, mini fridge as well as a microwave to use. The staff is very friendly and welcoming too! DEFINITELY will be staying here again next time!!!
