This place is so FUN!! It was a walk down memory lane to see all the mid-century furniture and lamps. They have a great gift selection of really fun-and funny-items and plants/planters. Nice incense selection and beautiful incense burners. Good flow in the shop and everyone is super nice.

My husband and I are lovers of mid-century modern furnishings and consider ourselves astute students of the period having spent our careers in Interior Design and related fields. We devoted a portion of our morning perusing the holdings of Dashwood and were quite impressed with the quality and variety of Mid Mod furniture and décor. However, it is quite unlikely we will ever return to Dashwood as the proprietors of this business are extremely lacking in hospitality. When my husband said hello to one employee, she merely stared at him. When we checked out with a small purchase, a different employee was very dismissive, bordering on snobbery, when my husband offered a compliment regarding their collection of beautiful furnishings for sale. This business can only be as good as the marvelous assembly of Mid Mod collectibles if the employees know the proper way to greet and treat their customers.
