The desk clerk on check in was wonderful - cheerful, informative. The desk clerk at check out was the same. When I mentioned that the toilet was not flushing properly, she apologized nicely and made a note to get it looked at. The room was clean and comfortable. I travel through Terre Haute several times a year and will definitely stay again.

We're traveling across country and have experienced quite a few "one nighters". Pear Tree provided a clean and comfortable room at a very reasonable rate. Late night check in was very secure (entry to main lobby from an enclosed vestibule only after being checked by front desk attendant). Complimentary breakfast was typical of many hotels "post-Covid" - coffee, juice, fruit, cereal, bread, bagels, prepackaged muffins, waffles. Nothing elaborate but these days you just don't find the hot buffet.

There was no exhaust fan or heater in the bathroom. It was very cold. The breakfast was cereal and bread. The heater in the room did not stay where it was set. It kept going down in temp. There was hair in the bathtub. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned.

Positive: The amazing experience here. The staff was truly amazing. From the front desk to the housekeeping showed true commitment and was very kind. The room was immaculate. I walked around in my white socks and they were still white when I went to change clothes. Negative: No
