Have called 6 times today with phone ringing a solid 2 minutes each time before it just cuts off. Clearly no one is there to answer any calls. Have tried setting up redelivery 2 times and nothing. Now I will have to go directly to office to find out exactly what is going on. This is so unacceptable.

This place is terrible. My package wasn't delivered to my address which was my fault, I forgot the apartment number. It said I could schedule to pick it up which I scheduled to pick it up today, yesterday. I'm here, took time out of my work day to fulfill my commitment and I've been here for half an hour and they don't know where my package is. The guy behind me has the same situation but he didn't leave anything off of his address, they just didn't deliver it and told him to come pick it up but they also didn't have his.

Yes. We've had this problem as well. It often happens for us on weekends when they have temp help. You need to document the incident and physically go to the post office to complain, and you may need to do this more than once. We have a good post office but they don't have a good system if managing problems.
Possibly, the postage for express starts at ~$25. You would have to get it in today for a guarantee by Saturday
With the way Meridian is growing rapidly, The Post Office is running out of room due to the increased number of routes that have to be added, therefore more than half of the parking lot are employees. They unfortunately have to park somewhere. I hope that helps.

That actually depends on your HOA. Definitely call the post office to see if it applies to you, but you may have to hire a locksmith to replace the lock

As long as you don’t open it you can return it for free just go drop it off at the post office. If you want a receipt by a 1 cent stamp when they scan it refused
