Room was dirty - there was some sort of gauze attached to the bathroom doorknob with the other gauze end attached to the adjoining room door - highly suspicious. Rooms are old, linens were stained, walls needed to be washed. The lock on the outside door was broken, indoor pool area had towels similar to sandpaper- the hot tub was cemented over, sauna non-existent and pool shower non- functional. Hot breakfast is a joke and based on the room condition, I would never choose to eat there. The staff we’re very nice and personable. I had asked for the manager to call me, but have not received a call as of yet. There are plenty of hotels on Gore Rd - choose a better one.

Date of saty 7-5-2022. The Quality Inn was so gross. (If you can spend the extra $100 and stay at the Holiday Inn.) As soon as we walked into our room my fiance scanned over the room, as we always do. We noticed stains on the blankets, sticky black stuff on the walls, and the bathroom supplies (lotion, shampoo, and conditioner) were used, like less than half full. Since my mom and sister were coming to swim I figured I would talk to the staff once they left. Well in the pool area the ceiling was completely falling down and not just in 1 spot but multiple spots throughout the entire area. There is a sign to rinse off in the shower area before getting in the pool. Well the nozzle for the water was completely ripped off, so shower did not work. I had to run to the front desk to ask for pool towels and the staff said "there hasn't been anyone in the pool in a few days, there should be plenty." There were plenty of towels in the dirty hamper but only 1 clean towel. So that means no one has checked or done laundry from the pool area in a few days. (Luckily, my mom had brought multiple towels.) After, my family left we decided to go back into the room to snap some pictures of the stains and the bath essentials, to show staff. My fiance noticed a few little ants and as we were walking out the door he noticed the wall was covered in the ants. It was so gross. I took a few pictures and headed to the front desk. At this point we decided to leave the hotel and pay double for a room next door at the Holiday Inn. Boy do I wish we had done that in the first place. I know the saying you get what you pay for. But honestly people should be doing their jobs at all times. The room was $90 before taxes so its not like I was staying at a hotel by the hour or $45 a night kind of thing. I would like to say there was no argument from the staff, he was very polite, and he said there would be no charge at all. I am a very big believer in its ok to make mistakes what's important is how you fix them and what you learn. Holiday Inn gave us a discounted rate (which I was so grateful for). The hotel had recently been fully renovated and looked great. Even more important no bugs, stains, or any other issues. So if you want a room full of bugs go to Quality Inn, if you want a room that is comfy and bug free head to Holiday Inn.

I am forced to stay here about twice a month for work and its horrible!!! Everytime i stay here you have to go to the front desk at least once because the keycards dont work... (other guests were also complaining about this)...the rooms are also old and dirty...

Woke up with a couple bug bites on my arm. Also was not amused by getting gouged for the "Safe fee" for the safe that I DID NOT use. Every time I've ever stayed at a hotel that slips the "Safe fee" in on the receipt at checkout... I've found that the same hotel also cuts way too many corners when it comes to cleanliness and things like breakfast. Apparently this one is no exception to that rule.

The cleaning lady doesn't clean your room until you are checked out if you are only staying one night, so around noon, they will go around and clean all of the rooms unless there is a Do Not Disturb holder in the key slot. Hope this helps!
