I was a patient for some time. I had good and bad students. On my last visits, my small 1tooth bridge fell out. It had been in 30 plus years so I took it in and asked he Re glue it in. He said could not do because they don’t do that anymore. Ok, what can be done? He removed the rest of my teeth and made a new bridge which cost over $2000.00. Yikes. While making a copy of my mouth, he left the putty in my mouth too long. It went down my throat. I passed out. On coming to, there were two more students also using drills to break up this matter and removing it. He covered me with a plastic blanket, got bottled water, lay me back to rest about 20 min. I was trembling but we stopped so I went home. Other than my fear of getting another molding, I was ok, I guess. After the bridge was in I was in pain. They brought over a perridonytal teacher to look at it. She insisted it was fine. I stopped going but now 4 yrs or so later I knew something is wrong. The bridge is pushing down and it broke half my last tooth. I called but since it’s been over 2 years, I must Re register as a new patient. They can’t find my records. I can’t get an appointment and I hurt from both the bridge and a broken tooth. I need transportation as I am disabled. I was told to come in at 7:30 and try to get an appointment. My driver only does afternoon trips. I’m stuck without hope of help. I’m 80 yrs old and can’t run around looking for a dentist when this was paid for and should be covered. This is my post. Wish I had never started there but must admit, cleaning and fillings were done well. I was pleased till the end.

Osu dental emergency clinic . The best I mean the best dental place I’ve been . I went their twice ,and today being 1 of them . The students so caring non-judgmental at all . They were amazing in dealing with me . 5 stars .
No Way
Not enough supervision. Some students have bad intentions. I will never go here again.

Simple extractions are done by students and are indeed cheaper. For complicated extractions they may refer you to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery dept of the school and then depending upon the complexity it may be extracted by doctors who are interning. It is also cheap. If you want a tooth to be pulled out by a faculty practitioner it'd cost you a bit. Generally your insurance will cover for 75% of the cost if students or interns pull it out. Whereas 50% will be covered if you want a faculty to see you. Get well soon. I know that pain. Yikes!
Hello Mr. Stoll, Our dental clinic uses SDF sometimes.
I just had 2 extractions done a little over a month ago and the gave me nitrous oxide. Also they use numbing meds. I highly recommend this clinic
