JUST AWFUL! I used the app, paid for my parking space and with several minutes remaining on my meter, returned to my call to find a ticket under my windshield wiper for "Failure to Pay". Apparently, when I selected my vehicle in the app, I failed to notice that my license plate number had changed from the time I had used the app previously. So even though I paid for the parking spot, had the right car identified, because it was a different license plate, they ticketed me. I appealed and it was upheld. I had a hearing through zoom and the "hearing examiner" (from parking services mind you) upheld again and refused to hear my explanation. The appeal process is a joke. Don't waste your time trying to appeal. They are not for the people of the city, it's all about making money!

Impossible to contest parking tickets. I tried on their website and it kept giving me error messages and wouldn’t let me submit any photos of evidence. Wether I sent it in as a file, through my camera roll, or even as a jpeg, it wouldn’t work. I paid the meter, and now I am going to have to pay this ticket because you have no means to contest.

Dawn, please call 311 to report this and they will have a parking enforcement officer come out.
City of Columbus Parking Violations for Handicap Parking are $500. I suspect the ticket you received was from a private operator/parking owner. I would suggest utilizing the contact information on the ticket you received to get more information on the violation and payment.
I got your 🚗
You have to call then or visit the office to make arrangements.
Depends... there's towing, fines, old tickets, etc. You'd have to call them to find exactly how much
Depends on the ticket.. You can call them
It doesn’t matter. The meter maids will write you a ticket anyways and the fine you will have to pay is less than the headache you’ll endure fighting it.
