Buckeye Health Plan covers mefical, dental anf vision. We offer incentives such as Walmart guft cards for the routine things you do such as a flu shot, mammogram or a yearly physical. You will have a case manager if you wish to call with nursing questions or even need a list of dentists, specialist or routine doctor's in your area.
The nurse hotline should be able to help with that?
Yes it does. Cleanings and even dentures if needed.
That would depend on your dr. more so than Buckeye. Their are requirements such as health tests to be sure your healtgy enough for it and once those are completed the dr just had to submit his request for it. Once that happens things go relatively quickly i believe as far as the approval. The physical surgery part would be back to the drs. as far as timeline.
I believe they do but it's always best to call and ask
I have not. They paid for an MRI on my knee when I had some issues and they paid to get several suspected skin cancer spot biopsy's and a couple of places frozen. So far so good. I think they take good care of you when you need it!
Not sure about Toledo. But in Cincinnati we can go to Walmart.
For younger adults caresource is the best
I would check with company before doing anything..i had a back injury and Buckeye wouldn't even approve a back brace..if you can..change insurance to United..their really good And they always approve the doctors suggestions
Buckeyehealthplan.com - "Buckeye Health Plan covers prescription medications and certain over-the-counter medications with a written order from a Buckeye Health Plan provider. " Depending on type of plan there are also other OTC benefits available. Member services can be reached at 1866-549-8289
Yes
Got to get the whole testing done for diabetes and wait for the doctor to get paid then you have to wait a month and a half to get paid but I don't have Buckeye health insurance anymore since last year.
No not really. They have different plans for everyone.
It is a Visa card.
Everywhere Visa is accepted, Walmart, there are some restrictions. No cigarettes, booze. But for the most part anywhere.
Clarkson Eye also takes Buckeye. If you go to Buckeye's website you can search for ine in your area. Or call Buckeye and they will help you find one.
Buckeye has Medicaid too and yes they can apply
Call the member hotline it should be on the back of your buckeye card or you can Google it and they either send you a handbook in the mail or recommend some wound care specialists over the phone. Best of luck!😊
You Can Call them And Setup a ride thru transportation
If you have not had one in 5 years
No it is not. Buckeye is horrible
Keep the medicaid portion of it because it does more for you
Yes. You have to have a doctor say the child has a medically necessary Condition. Then they have to approve it n then you can get them. I know for a fact adults of any age can get them as well.
It pays for either one pair of glasses or the dr visit and $50 toward contacts.
Call them! They actually let you talk to a person, not a computer voice-over.
If you are member call Buckeye health plan please call them.
Call member services and they should be able to help you locate a provider
Call member services and request one if you are still member. Update the information more than likely.
Call member services and they can help you find a participating provider.
app for your phone it's called OTC you can scan items and it will tell you what items are approved
You have to apply thru job and family services and when approved you can elect to have Buckeye Health Plan as your managed care plan.
Yes, 3 pairs a year
Yes surgeries are covered. Also all routine exams and visits are covered, dentist and eye drs.
We give bus tickets if preferred...
Call the member services number on the back of your card and they will send you a list of providers that accept Buckeye in your area.
A worker comp does not affect your Medical ins..ts only primary for that injury
There hours lol? When they do answer the phone they give you the run around I'm so glad it's nov. I've been waiting to switch insurance. Now we can get braces for my daughter after i switch from these idiots. If ur looking for no hassles of insurance this isn't the insurance to go with.
Not at this time
Are you trying to get on for Medicare or Medicare Advantage, Medicaid?
Depending what product you have (Medicare, Medicare, Ambetter, Mycare) because each product has it own criteria. If you meet the criteria and have the right product, then it would be reviewed for possible approval
why is it taking so longto approve meds?
Call into member services
If you mean card? And you have them already call and request a new one! It's hard to get through sometimes. Sometimes they won't answer
No, not at this time. However depending on the product that you have whether it's medicare-medicaid or Amnetter. It also depends on your particular individual situation. Buckeye is known to pay for braces but must go to Medical review to be approved because it has to meet certain criteria
