It was nice at the first visit, and itβs still nice, they are helping me with my medicine, Logan Gross helped me with my insurance, he is amazing!! Iβm so thankful!!!

This place is great, highly recommend scheduling an appointment here. All of the staff was quick, professional, and humorous. My visit was also free as they provide some services at no cost, where else can you find that in a for-profit healthcare system?? I like that they didn't have a super lengthy medical history questionnaire to fill out, all of the paperwork is concise. No hassle scheduling and check in. I can't remember their name, the two I saw for my appointment were awesome though, they actually made it a good time and completely painless. The only thing I did not like was their seemingly cavalier attitude toward security, given it's just off the street near a recently high-crime area. Did not see security staff or armed security, although they could have been in a back area. Would like the ability to carry concealed on the premises as permitted by law if they will not take this matter seriously.

Iβve been going to equitas for 2 years now and have had nothing but terrible experiences since day 1. I go to equitas for hormones because Iβm trans but was not given half the information I needed to understand what I was doing. Iβve had to reach out to other trans people that go to different doctors to learn about what Iβm doing and how to handle/inject the hormones. The doctors cancel either minutes before virtual visits or after youβve been waiting for them to join your zoom meeting for so long you call the front desk to find that the doctor is on vacation or taking the day off. Keep in mind I have a job that I leave early with no pay to make it home for the appointments that never happen. Every single time I need a refill for any of my meds I have to go without the medications I rely on to properly function at work for days, sometimes over a week before they send the proper medication to my pharmacy. They switch your doctor without notice regularly and itβs like youβre restarting the entire process. Unfortunately I donβt have a single good thing to say about this place. Find another doctor elsewhere.

did you use the online appointment service? If so it would be a good idea to call them after the holiday weekend and speak to somebody in person to set up the appointment. I tried to do it online, but I did not hear back from anybody for over a month so I called the number directly and spoke to a person and got everything going for my appointment. If you call their number they will get things going right away for you to get things going for your boyfriend. They are great agency to work with.
There's no substance therapy but the front desk may have some good references. It's worth stopping by and asking or even calling if you aren't able to stop in easily.
