This place is truly a gem. After walking through the empty cup torn streets of NOLA you will come down a small alley to find a brilliant small concrete sign in the wall painted “coffee & Bar”. Do not be fooled. Once you walk in you’ll see the vaulted ceilings and wood trappings. Peak past the barista and you’ll see the bar in the back with a quaint courtyard begging for someone sit sit in its company. The gentle John Mayer Trio playing in the background on the speakers are at the right volume to fill the space. There will likely be a line as there was a single barista on when I visited, but it’s a very friendly vibe and line and decently fast paced. Get yourself a small snack and sit and enjoy it for 5 minutes even if you’re in a rush. Make it a great day when you visit.

AUTHENTIC CROISSANT. I love croissants. I try them everywhere I go, whether in the US or abroad. It’s not often I find authentic croissants in the US. I had a cup of cappuccino with oat milk to fully enjoy the experience of this cafe. It’s hip, trendy and nostalgic. Come for the croissants, stay for the vibes (Grab a book that is available for you to read, sit back on a chair or sofa, and enjoy some of life’s simplest pleasures).
