Most staff were very mean to patients.

Seaside was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with this type of hospital. Their staff was beyond rude, unprofessional, and the least empathetic I've ever experienced. Being empathetic is one of the most important qualities to have in this line of work and their staff had 0! Nurses and doctors were quick to take away medication from patients even when their life was at stake(for signing a 72). The hospital itself was dirty, under staffed, and watched me personally have an adverse reaction to medication THEY gave me. For 4 hours they watched me have signs of stroke (my entire left side of my body was paralyzed and my blood pressure was extremely elevated, which they took 5+ times trying to "figure out" what was hapoening) due to detox symptoms, which in turn took them 4 hours to get a doctors order to give me something to loosen that side of my body and lower my blood pressure. I can not say enough bad things about this hospital. It NEEDS to be shut down.

Everything about this place needs help. The doctors, the staff, it’s all bad. No options for real help just heavy sedation.

Thank you for your question. We do not have bedside bells; but we do maintain observation status on every client in our services. Every client is on a minimum level of observation that ensures our staff makes contact with each client every 15 minutes. Thanks SHS

Thank you for your comments. In the middle of July 2022, we welcomed a new administrator, a new DON and a new ADON. We are committed to providing excellent services in a professional manner to all of our clients and staff. We apologize for your experience several years ago. We are making substantial changes to our hospital to improve the quality of the services we deliver. Thanks SHS

This place is not for anyone who has possibilities of a positive future; and that's exactly how they treat all of thier patients. The physical condition of the facility is way below par and the staff have little to no interest to do what they have paid to go to school for and also being paid to do as a job. I will never forgive myself for letting my mother walk through those doors. This is not a place you send someone you care about
