I love this gem of a park. There are so many elements of Slidell History. The swamp trails are so peaceful and my go-to for my down time. We went for family pictures today. The biggest thing for me is the cleanliness. The wooden trail system is well maintained. The other trails are kept clean. Easy walks and beautiful views.

This is an amazing place to enjoy the natural sounds and beauty of the area. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The area is rich with some Slidell history. Very beautiful place to come time and time again, especially since I live nearby. I love watching the wildlife and listening to their communication.

They have the best park in Slidell. There are a lot of trees, fresh air and the park is never crowded either.

They have paved paths and unpaved. Bikes can be ridded on either.

Yes you can rent space from the park to host events. You have to contact their office and make those arrangements with the park. Fees vary depending on time and how much you rent i believe.
Yes you can have parties there and there is a very big play area with climbing things for the kids. Call them to reserve and they can give you other details. There was a party when we visited under big pavilion.
