Excellent community resource. Swimming lessons, camping sites, volleyball, playgrounds, a pound, a pool, this courts, a disc golf course, and more. What more do you want from an outdoor recreation area?

Honestly this place was one of the only parts of growing up in Hanover that didn't completely suck. A pool AND a lake??? Best of both worlds! I think I also went camping with the girl scouts here once, but that actually was terrifying because the outhouse was full of enormous spiders. But that was a while ago, so I'm betting the spiders are dead by now.

This place offers a lot. Has a challenging disc golf course. Make sure your up for hiking if your disc golfing. Amazing views and located beautiful Hanover. Bring back pack and lots of water. Not good for carts. It has a small rope challenge course in the woods and balance beams. It has campsites and a small clean beach. It also has a ski jump I am assuming for the winter. It has a pool and bathrooms and tennis courts. It would be a cool place to camp at for sure.

Yes you can, but Erin is correct it must be outside the swimming area. You might want to get a fishing license (found at most hardware stores) as it is owned by the town.
I am not sure. I stayed too busy to get online.
There is a PowWow generally on on the green in Hanover once per year in May I believe. Possibly they held it at storrs pond one year, or maybe it was a separate one time event.
5 dollars per perso. for the pond 10 dollars for the pool
