They deserve 00000. As a business owner from another state I’m totally ashamed of Picayune MS police dept. I own a Trucking Co. & employ a driver from this area. Short story, he quit so I drove to Picayune to recover my vehicle. Once located, I 1st called the police to make sure we had no issues with the recovery. I instructed them to allow him to retrieve all his personal property out of the truck but any thing structural was to stay. This police dept. sat and watched this driver not only pull radio out of the truck but also watched as he attempted to take out the drivers seat. Which is vandalism. I thought there job was to protect & serve & Fight crime. I guess this Police dept. helps to commit crimes. Thank God I had since to start recording on my phone. The moment I started to video the driver removing the seat. The police immediately made him stop and allowed me to take my truck. This small town police department should be investigated. Blessed to never have to return to this dreadful town. Learn to Do Your Job.
