Greatmen Cottage was truly spectacular. It was like staying in a magazine. The design and furnishings were both beautiful and comfortable. My kids absolutely loved the outdoor space. It was very easy to park and really convenient to get around New Orleans. And don't sleep on Frady's and Satsuma which are right down the street.

This is a beautiful home with gorgeous high ceilings and a beautiful garden area to relax outside. Close to the French Quarter. Charming bars and restaurants all close by. Perfect place to come home to after a day exploring the city. The kitchen is one you wish you could take home with you. The owners really thought of everything. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed in this home in the Bywater section near the French Quarter. It is fabulous. Parking was easy. Just a short walk around the corner you will find views of the Mississippi River. There are wonderful restaurants located near this home . As for the house the kitchen is well equipt with high end appliances. This home has been decorated with impeccable taste. The bathrooms are beautiful with classic fixtures and tile showers. This home is a destination and a experience in itself with its beautiful courtyard. A wonderful refuge to explore New Orleans and the French Quarter. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here!

Within a two to five block radius from our house, you will find excellent coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants and bars: Satsuma Coffee Shop & Cafe, Bywater Bakery, Elizabeth’s Restaurant, The Country Club, The Joint, Frady’s, Pizza Delicious, Bratz Y’all Biergarten, Bywater American Bistro, Markey’s Bar, Bud Rips Bar, etc.
Yes. 15 blocks. A lovely 20 minute walk or a quick 5 minute ride in an Uber. For those who like to walk there are two great routes. The first is along the Mississippi River in Crescent Park. It’s a beautiful stroll through a lovely park with amazing river, skyline & bridge views the entire way. The second route is through the charming Historic Districts of the Bywater and Marigny neighborhoods. There are lots of colorful houses & other amazing architecture to see. And you will also pass a charming restaurant, bar or shop on just about every block.
